Westport Performing Arts welcomes all students to instill a respect for traditions within the artistic disciplines while encouraging exploration and innovation in performance and creative expression through traditional and progressive styles.
Vision
In the Westport Middle School Performing Arts Academy, we define ourselves as a leader in collaborative, creative and innovative progressive performing arts education. We aim to develop students’ performance skills and knowledge that align with current industry standards. We will foster students’ growth academically, artistically and socially so that they leave the school as independent, cooperative, responsible, and creative young people with a lifelong interest and ability in learning and the performing arts.
